Industrial 4-Tank Ultrasonic Cleaning System with Filtration, Rinsing, Spray & Drying

Industrial 4-tank ultrasonic cleaning system combining ultrasonic cleaning, filtration, rinsing, spray treatment, and drying in one multi-stage process. Available from 45L to 1500L, it is designed for industrial parts requiring controlled cleaning, rinsing, and drying before assembly, coating, or other downstream processes.

Product Overview

Some industrial cleaning applications cannot achieve the required result with a single cleaning tank or a simple cleaning-and-rinsing process.
Parts may need primary contamination removal, secondary ultrasonic treatment, liquid management, rinsing, spray treatment, and drying before they are ready for the next production stage.
This four-tank system provides a configurable platform for combining these processes within one cleaning line.
The standard series incorporates two ultrasonic treatment configurations, together with filtration circulation, spray functionality and drying. Individual tank functions and the final process sequence can be configured according to the workpiece, contamination, cleaning chemistry, cleanliness requirement and downstream process.
With standard capacities from 45L to 1500L, the system can accommodate applications ranging from medium-size batch cleaning to larger industrial components and production loads.
Best suited for: parts requiring a controlled multi-stage cleaning, rinsing and drying process.
Consider another system if: the application only requires one or two treatment stages, or if production requires additional tanks, automatic transfer, dedicated precision rinsing, or a fully automated cleaning line.

Multi-Stage Cleaning Process

The main advantage of this series is the separation of different treatment functions into dedicated process stages.
Rather than asking one tank to perform the entire cleaning process, each stage can be configured for a specific purpose.
A typical four-stage process can be arranged around:
Ultrasonic Cleaning → Secondary Ultrasonic Treatment / Rinsing → Spray Rinsing → Drying
Filtration and circulation support liquid management within the cleaning process.
The exact function assigned to each tank should be confirmed according to the application rather than treated as a fixed sequence for every project.

Stage 1 — Primary Ultrasonic Cleaning

The first ultrasonic stage performs the main contamination-removal process.
Ultrasonic cavitation works together with suitable cleaning chemistry, temperature and process time to remove contaminants such as machining oil, grease, coolant, particles and polishing residue.

Stage 2 — Secondary Ultrasonic Treatment / Rinsing

A second ultrasonic treatment stage can be used to continue cleaning or provide ultrasonic-assisted rinsing.
Separating this stage from the primary cleaning bath helps reduce contamination carryover and provides greater control over the cleaning process.

Stage 3 — Rinsing & Spray Treatment

Rinsing removes remaining cleaning solution and loosened contamination from the workpiece.
The standard spray function can provide additional liquid action on exposed surfaces and can be integrated into the rinsing process according to part geometry and cleaning requirements.

Stage 4 — Drying

After rinsing, the parts can proceed to the drying stage.
The standard specification provides drying temperature control from ambient conditions up to 150°C, allowing the drying process to be adjusted according to the workpiece and production requirements.

Core Features

Four-Tank Multi-Stage Configuration

Four process tanks allow cleaning, secondary treatment, rinsing, spray treatment and drying functions to be combined within one industrial cleaning system.
The actual allocation of each tank can be adapted to the application.

Dual Ultrasonic Treatment Configuration

According to the standard specification, the series uses ultrasonic configurations ranging from 12 pcs × 2 to 216 pcs × 2 transducers, depending on model.
This provides two ultrasonic treatment stages rather than limiting ultrasonic action to the primary cleaning tank.

Adjustable Ultrasonic Power

Ultrasonic output is adjustable according to the selected model.
Standard configurations range from 0–600W × 2 to 0–10800W × 2, allowing the ultrasonic stages to be matched to different tank sizes and process requirements.

28kHz / 40kHz Frequency Options

The system supports 28kHz and 40kHz ultrasonic configurations.
Frequency selection should be based on workpiece geometry, material, contamination and the required cleaning effect.

Filtration & Circulation

Filtration circulation is included as a standard function to support process-liquid management during repeated industrial cleaning cycles.
The final filtration arrangement should be selected according to the contamination and process requirements.

Spray Function

A standard spray function provides an additional treatment method during the multi-stage process.
Spray configuration can be adapted according to workpiece geometry, rinsing requirements and the required process sequence.

Heated Cleaning up to 95°C

Cleaning-stage temperature can be controlled from ambient conditions up to 95°C.
Operating temperature should be selected according to cleaning chemistry, workpiece material and contamination.

Drying up to 150°C

The drying stage provides temperature control from ambient conditions up to 150°C.
Actual drying temperature and time should be determined according to part material, geometry, retained moisture and downstream requirements.

SUS304 Industrial Construction

The standard inner tanks use SUS304 stainless steel with T2.0 construction, providing a practical platform for repeated industrial batch-cleaning processes.

How to Configure the 4-Tank Cleaning Process

For a multi-stage system, tank capacity alone should not determine machine selection.
The first step is to define what needs to happen to the workpiece from loading to final unloading.

Part Size & Batch Load

Provide the maximum workpiece dimensions, quantity per batch, approximate batch weight and loading method.
These determine tank dimensions, basket design and whether additional material-handling functions are required.

Contamination & Cleaning Chemistry

The type and amount of contamination determine the primary ultrasonic cleaning conditions.
Cutting oils, grease, polishing compounds, fine particles and other residues may require different chemistry, temperature, ultrasonic frequency and cleaning time.

Required Rinsing Process

The rinsing stages should be configured according to the cleaning chemistry and acceptable process carryover.
For some applications, immersion rinsing may be sufficient. Others may benefit from ultrasonic-assisted rinsing, spray treatment or additional rinse stages.

Drying Requirement

Part geometry, retained water, material and downstream production requirements determine the appropriate drying method.
The standard series supports heated drying, while other drying configurations can be evaluated for suitable applications.

Required Cleanliness

The required result determines whether four stages are sufficient.
Parts intended for general industrial cleaning may require a different process from components going into precision assembly, coating or other controlled manufacturing operations.

For applications requiring several controlled treatment stages, this four-tank series provides a configurable platform combining ultrasonic cleaning, filtration, rinsing, spray treatment and drying.
Where the process becomes more complex, functions such as bubbling, agitation, lifting, drum cleaning, air knife, PLC control and automated transfer can be evaluated as part of the project.
Project support can include equipment selection, process configuration, customization coordination, technical communication, export packaging and delivery coordination, and after-sales communication.

FAQ

Why use a four-tank system instead of a single- or dual-tank cleaner?

A four-tank system allows different cleaning functions to be separated into dedicated stages.
This is useful when parts require primary cleaning, additional ultrasonic treatment or rinsing, final rinsing and drying rather than a single cleaning cycle.

Can the system be customized with lifting or automatic transfer?

Yes.
For heavier baskets, higher production volumes or more controlled production processes, lifting, agitation, PLC control and automatic transfer systems can be evaluated.

Can more than four process stages be configured?

Yes.
If the required cleaning process includes additional ultrasonic cleaning, multiple rinses, precision rinsing, drying or other treatment stages, a custom multi-tank system can be configured around the required workflow.
