Multi-tank series

Industrial Quadruple-Tank Ultrasonic Cleaner (Cleaning & Filtration + Dual Rinsing + Drying)

Available in capacities from 45L to 1500L, the series is a high-specification quadruple-tank system engineered for industries industries requiring higher cleanliness control. By integrating a primary ultrasonic cleaning stage with continuous filtration, two sequential rinsing stages, and a high-temperature drying chamber, this series helps reduce contaminants, chemical residue, and residual moisture before the next process.

Product Overview

This four-tank system is designed for applications where one cleaning stage followed by a single rinse is not sufficient.
The standard configuration uses three ultrasonic treatment stages, allowing the process to be arranged around primary ultrasonic cleaning followed by two successive ultrasonic-assisted rinsing stages. A dedicated drying stage completes the process.
Compared with the three-tank cleaning–rinsing–drying series, the additional rinse stage provides another separation step between the contaminated cleaning bath and the final drying process.
Best suited for: industrial components requiring ultrasonic cleaning followed by two controlled rinsing stages and drying.
Consider another system if: the process requires spray rinsing instead of a second immersion rinse, fewer treatment stages, or additional automated handling.

Four-Stage Cleaning Process

A typical process can be configured as:
Ultrasonic Cleaning → Ultrasonic Rinsing → Ultrasonic Final Rinsing → Drying

Stage 1 — Ultrasonic Cleaning

The first ultrasonic stage performs the primary contamination-removal process.
Ultrasonic cavitation, cleaning chemistry, temperature, and process time work together to remove machining oil, grease, coolant, particles, polishing residue, and other process contamination.

Stage 2 — First Ultrasonic Rinsing

The first rinse stage helps remove cleaning solution and loosened contamination carried over from the main cleaning bath.
Ultrasonic action supports liquid contact with complex surfaces, recesses, and other difficult-to-reach areas.

Stage 3 — Second Ultrasonic Rinsing

A second rinse stage provides further separation from the primary cleaning bath and first rinse.
This stage is useful where the process requires more controlled removal of residual cleaning solution before drying.

Stage 4 — Drying

After the final rinse, parts move to the dedicated drying stage.
Standard drying temperature can be controlled from ambient temperature up to 150°C.

Core Features

Three Ultrasonic Treatment Stages

Unlike the standard three-tank configuration, this system provides three ultrasonic stages for primary cleaning and two successive rinsing treatments.
Depending on model, the system uses 12 pcs × 3 to 216 pcs × 3 ultrasonic transducers.

Dual Rinsing Process

Two separate rinse stages provide progressive removal of cleaning solution and residual contamination before drying.

Filtration & Circulation

Standard filtration circulation supports cleaning-liquid management during repeated industrial batch processing.

Adjustable Ultrasonic Power

Depending on model, ultrasonic output ranges from 0–600W × 3 to 0–10800W × 3.

28/40kHz Frequency Options

Standard systems support 28kHz or 40kHz ultrasonic configurations according to workpiece geometry, contamination, and process requirements.

Heated Cleaning & Rinsing

Cleaning and rinsing temperature can be controlled from ambient temperature to 95°C.

Dedicated Drying

The final drying stage supports temperature control from ambient temperature to 150°C.

SUS304 Construction

Standard inner tanks use SUS304 stainless steel with T2.0 construction for industrial batch-cleaning applications.

Specifications are standard reference configurations. Final cleaning and rinsing process, filtration, tank dimensions, baskets, drying system, electrical configuration, and handling method can be customized according to the application.

How to Select the Right Configuration

For this system, the key question is not simply how many tanks are required, but how many treatment and rinsing stages the parts need before drying.
Selection should consider the part size, batch weight, contamination, cleaning chemistry, required cleanliness, rinse-water requirements, drying requirements, and downstream process.
For applications where one rinse is sufficient, the three-tank system may be a simpler choice. Where additional rinsing is required before drying, this four-stage configuration provides a more suitable process platform.

Why Work with SonixMax?

The number of tanks should be determined by the required cleaning process rather than selected as a standalone specification.
SonixMax evaluates the workpiece, contamination, batch load, cleaning chemistry, rinsing requirements, drying requirements, and downstream process to determine a suitable system configuration.
Additional filtration, agitation, lifting, spraying, bubbling, air-knife drying, PLC control, and automatic transfer can be integrated where required.

FAQ

Why use two rinsing stages?

Two separate rinsing stages provide progressive removal of cleaning solution and contamination carried over from the primary cleaning bath before parts enter the drying stage.

Are all three wet-process tanks ultrasonic?

According to the standard specification, the system uses three ultrasonic configurations, with transducer quantity and ultrasonic power specified as ×3.

How is this different from the three-tank system?

The three-tank system is primarily configured around cleaning → rinsing → drying. This four-tank version adds another rinsing stage, creating cleaning → rinsing → final rinsing → drying.

How is this different from the four-tank spray system?

This version uses a second immersion/ultrasonic rinsing stage instead of the dedicated spray stage used in the other four-tank configuration.

Can the system be automated?

Yes. Lifting, PLC control, gantry transfer, and other handling configurations can be evaluated according to batch weight and production requirements.
